David S. Waltzer- President and Senior Attorney
David Waltzer is a zealous advocate who has successfully handled thousands of consumer bankruptcy cases and negotiations. He has litigated the longest Chapter 7 consumer bankruptcy case against the United States Trustee ever tried in the Eastern District of New York and managed the bankruptcy filing for a client with the highest household income to ever get a discharge of consumer debt in the District of New Jersey. David Waltzer's experience includes work at the United Nations, the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone and The Essex County Courts. David's educational background includes a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law, NJ, an M.P.A from Baruch College, NY, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Purchase College, NY. David was also selected to attend the law program at the University of Leiden, one of Europe's oldest and most renowned universities. David speaks Spanish, Portuguese and can get by with Italian and French, Haitian Creole and Jamaican Patois. In his rare moments of free time, David enjoys all mountain sports, philosophy and composing music.
Steven Alpert - Bankruptcy Attorney
Steve Alpert received his JD from Boalt Hall School of Law and his BA in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles, graduating magna cum laude. Steven is a member of the State Bars of California, Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Nevada. Prior to joining Waltzer Law Group and Price Law Group, Steven was an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins, where he worked on transactional and litigation projects, including a large number of consumer bankruptcy cases. Steven is a sports enthusiast and likes to travel.
Wandishi Robertson - Paralegal
Wandishi 'Dee' Robertson works as paralegal and has over 15 years of experience in different bankruptcy law firms. She handles all aspects of consumer bankruptcy paralegal work and is is highly regarded for her attention for detail and kind demenour. Dee attended Howard University and has lived in Maryland and Washington DC, but considers herself a true 'Brooklyn girl'. In her free time, Dee practices Tae Kwan Do and enjoyes watching smart animated films.
Ailene Quan - Bankruptcy Attorney
Ailene Quan holds a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, a B.A. in English and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Texas in Austin and was born in Guam. Ailene is an expert in Chapter 7 bankruptcy and debt negotiation. Before joining Waltzer Law Group, Ailene worked for ESPN’s Classic Now and on several independent films. Ailene is a member of the State Bars of New York and New Jersey.
